BSB - Bodensee-Schiffsbetriebe (Vereinigten Schifffahrtsunternehmen für den Bodensee und Rhein) operate the ferries on Lake Constance between Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Discounts
Children up to and including 5 years of age travel free of charge. From the age of 6, the regular FIP adult fare applies.2
The Lake Constance Children’s Card (Bodensee-Kinderkarte) costs €10 per day and allows all children of a family between 6 and 15 years of age to travel, provided at least one parent holds a regular ticket and accompanies the journey. See the BSB website: Lake Constance Children’s Card.
All birthday children travel free of charge on their birthday in regular service upon presentation of their original ID card. The birthday ticket must be obtained at the sales points before departure.3

The full regular fare applies for bicycles. There is no discount for vehicles between Friedrichshafen and Romanshorn.
